If you depend on a Pride Mobility Hurricane or Maxima scooter, this is an item that may prove very handy and useful. This Seat On docking device is made especially for the Pride Hurricane (PMV5001) & Maxima (SC900/SC940) mobility scooters.
Sometimes known as a "C-arm" this ingenious device allows the user to hoist their big scooter without removing the seat. Acting somewhat like a big horseshoe shackle; one end of the C-arm mounts securely onto the scooter's seat post while the other end connects to the hoist's lifting cable. This keeps the scooter's center of gravity right where it needs to be, even when lifted off of the ground.
