Axles & Jackshafts for Go-Karts

This page lists axles, jackshafts, sprocket shafts and related hardware for go-karts and dune buggies. We carry a 1" steel live axle with 1/4" keyway from our AlveyTech brand, 3/4" x 10", 3/4" x 14" and 5/8" x 10" jackshafts with 3/16" keyways, and model-specific rear axles for the Coleman KT196, TaoTao EK80, GK80, GK110 and ATK125A, Jeep Auto and Realtree RTK200, plus sprocket shafts for the KT196 and RTK200. Hardware includes 1" pillow block bearings, a 1-1/2" shaft collar with 1" bore, a shaft sleeve adapter with step key and caster axle bolts for the Razor Crazy Cart XL.

Axles and jackshafts do two related jobs: the jackshaft transfers power from the torque converter to the drive axle by way of chain sprockets, and the rear axle turns the wheels.
