1" Steel Live Axle with 1/4" Keyway & Hardware for Go-Karts & Dune Buggies

This AlveyTech 1" live axle is a solid steel replacement rear axle for go-karts, dune buggies and other small off-road machines built around a 1" live axle. Choose a 36", 40" or 44" length. Each axle comes with two 3/4"-16 lock nuts and two flat washers.

A 1/4" keyway runs the full length of the shaft, so your sprocket, brake hub and wheel hubs can be keyed in wherever your frame needs them. The last 2" of each end steps down from 1" to 3/4" and is threaded 3/4"-16 (fine thread) for the included lock nuts.

Replace your axle if it is bent or wobbles, the keyway is rounded out, or the threads are stripped. A longer or shorter axle is also an easy way to change track width. To pick a size, measure your old axle tip to tip and choose the closest length.

Before you order: the 1" diameter is measured to the nearest hundredth of an inch, so bearings, hubs and sprockets should have a 1" bore or one very slightly larger. A tight or undersized bore may need light fitting.
