The Bird electric scooter is essentially a relabeled Xiaomi M365, a rock-solid scooter with a global reputation as a high-quality consumer scooter as well as the fleet vehicle for several well-known rental scooter companies. The only modifications to the Bird were to substitute a rigid bar tube instead of the M365's folding handlebar system, and installing an internal GPS unit. All other structural components of the Bird are fully interchangeable with the M365.
