Here is a value too good to pass up. Our almost-but-not-quite-perfect 48 Volt 500 Watt electric motor with 11 teeth for #25 chain sprocket needs a tiny bit of TLC, but is a true bargain by any standard.
The red wire is frayed and needs to be spliced about 3" out from the motor housing. Other than this two minute repair job, the unused electric motor is in fine shape and ready to put 500 Watts of electric power into your scooter.
If you need an economical 48 Volt, 500 Watt electric motor for a home built or custom project, and you don't mind doing a very minor wire repair, then this is the motor for you. The #25 is the most commonly found size of chain on today's recreational scooter models.
Note: This motor is capable of rotation in either the clockwise or counterclockwise direction by reversing the motor's power wires.
