The Half U1 18 Ah (17 Ah - 20 Ah replacement) 24 volt ES17-12 AGM mobility scooter battery pack with post terminals is made by Universal Power Group Battery, a highly regarded brand of batteries for electric power vehicles. This 18 Ah powerhouse makes an excellent upgrade for any scooter running off of this size class (U1) of batteries. The ES17-12 is an Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) battery, and is a very common size that is used on a multitude of electric mobility scooters and power chairs.

    Great batteries! Easy to instal, shipping was faster than expected and the mobility scooter is much faster now, feels brand new! Plus the batteries came at a fraction of the cost local shops wanted and monster scooter parts has a much longer warranty. Very pleased 10/10

    Shipped quickly with a good level of charge on each battery. It came with some hardware (nuts and bolts) that looked undersized for connecting the leads to the battery terminals. I lust reused the same hardware that I already had from the old battery pack hookup. as well as the velcro strips on the bottom ends of each battery. The true test will be how well they perform over the next few years. But we're certainly off to a good start.

    The batteries were what was the problem. They were a little tough to install into the battery pack, but finally got it. Scooter took off after bout 4 hrs. Will keep Monster Scooters parts website close. Price was good too,

    Easy to install, began using wheelchair again after fully charged. Plan on using on our 1700 mile trip back East.
