- Note: On some wheelchair models, it is possible to inadvertently install the armrest assemblies backwards, causing confusion as to which side clothing guard is needed
- A properly installed armrest assembly should place the logo area facing outwards and towards the front of the wheelchair
- If the user's clothing is exposed to the rear wheel, the armrest assembly is not installed properly. The clothing guard should sit far enough back to protect the user's clothing from the rear wheel
- If armrest assemblies were incorrectly installed, either remove and reinstall armrest assemblies properly OR order based on which side matches the clothing guard you need and not just based on the user's left or right

Description
Here is a useful item, the full-length clothing guard for the Invacare Tracer & 9000 Series wheelchairs is a protective shield that mounts under the armrest pads. This 16"x6-1/2" black plastic shield screws to your armrest frame and offers protection for the rider and their clothes. Note that the left side and the right side are different and are not interchangeable.
The guard fits most Invacare manual wheelchairs of the Tracer series and 9000 series, but please refer to the Compatibility list before ordering.
Note: On some models, it is possible to inadvertently install the armrest assemblies backwards, causing confusion as to which side clothing guard you may need. Please refer to the additional images for examples of the proper installation and orientation of the clothing guards.
