Description
The 5-coil stator for '78 - '84 Vespa P/PX series (VNX/VLX/VSX/T5) scooters is a set of wire coils that turns the mechanical movement of the engine into electric power. As the scooter's engine runs, a magnet (magneto) spins inside the stator inducing an electrical alternating current (AC). Electrical current from the magneto stator goes to the rectifier and a set of diodes that convert the AC current to direct current (DC).
Note: You may need to splice an extension to the wires stator, wires as these tend to be a little shorter.
