A brand new inner tube from Monster Scooter Parts is just what the mechanic ordered for breathing new life into your well used tire. It’s no secret that inner tubes grow old with time and develop holes, and even the highest quality puncture resistant tubes will eventually need to be replaced. Monster Scooter Parts has worked hard to make sure we have a tire tube for all of the most common tire sizes. You will not need to look further than Monster Scooter Parts while seeking inner tubes for mobility scooters, power chairs, recreational scooters, or street legal mopeds.
  • When can I use a Flat-Free Tire instead of a Pneumatic Tire?

  • A flat-free tire should only be used when the application has a split rim wheel assembly. A split-rim assembly is one that “splits” down the middle of the rim, separating the rim assembly into two pieces. These pieces are generally held together with bolts and are easy to locate and disassemble. In all other cases, it is recommended that you use a standard tire and inner tube set. Monster Scooter Parts does provide a full line of mobility flat-free tires (in addition to our unmatched tire tube selection), which is available at the following link:

  • Which Inner Tube is correct for my application?

  • There are 2 methods used to measure scooter tire inner tubes:
    1. If an "x" separates the 1st two sets of numbers, the 1st number is the overall diameter of the tire and the 2nd number is the overall width. The last number represents the tire diameter.
    2. If a "/" separates the 1st two sets of numbers, the 1st number is the overall width of the tire and the 2nd number identifies the section height. This is the measurement from the crown to the bead of the tire. The last number is the rim diameter. The overall diameter of the tire is D + D + C. For example, a 4.10/3.50-4 tire's overall diameter is 11". (3.5 + 3.5 + 4).
