This Type 2 key for Golden Technologies Companion I (GC240) and II (GC340, GC440) Scooters is only compatible with certain models and serial numbers. Please refer to the Compatibility list below.
Please note that this key is factory OEM for second generation Companion I (GC240), Companion II (GC340, GC440), Buzzaround Lite (GB106), and Buzzaround XL (GB116, GB146 scooter models manufactured since early 2013. In addition, these keys are serial number specific. It is only compatible with the following models:
Companion I GC240 - made in or after January 2013, or # TTA13A0133
Companion II GC340 - made in or after January 2013, or # TCA13A0601
Companion II GC440 - made in or after March 2013, or # QCA13C0001
If your scooter was made before these dates, or has an earlier serial numbers, you will need the Key Switch with Keys for the Golden Technologies Companion I (GC240) and II (GC340, GC440) Scooters (Type 1).
