Key Switch with Keys for the Golden Technologies Companion I (GC240) and II (GC340, GC440) Scooters (Type 1)

This key switch with keys for the Golden Technologies Companion I (GC240) and II (GC340, GC440) scooters is the Type 1 style. Please note that this key cylinder is factory original for second generation Companion I (GC240) and II (GC340, GC440) scooter models. In addition, this switch and key set is serial number specific. It is only compatible with the following:

Companion I GC240 - made before January 2013, or # TTA13A0133
Companion II GC340 - made before January 2013, or # TCA13A0601
Companion II GC440 - made before March 2013, or # QCA13C0001

If your Companion I or II was made after these dates, or has later serial numbers, you will need the Key Switch with Keys for the Golden Technologies Companion I (GC240) and II (GC340, GC440) Scooters (Type 2).

In addition, it may be retrofit on the earlier first generation Companion series models such as the Companion I (GC221/GC222/GC223), Companion II 3-Wheel (GC321/GC322/GC323/GC325), or Companion II 4-Wheel (GC421/GC422), however it is not OEM for those models.

Note: New stock of Golden Technology replacement key switch assemblies are only provided with one type of connector, which may not match your existing wiring harness connector. The keys themselves will be the same. Two butt splice connectors will be provided to cut and splice the wiring if necessary.
