KIT2205810 - Pride Hand Control & Control Box Update Kit for the VivaLift! Radiance PLR3955 Lift Chair

Early VivaLift! Radiance chairs, those with model code HOA, were built with an older hand control and control box pair: the CTL1908249 remote (HW110I-0-024) and the CTL1908248 control box. Those two parts only work with each other, so if either one fails, both have to be replaced. This genuine Pride Mobility update kit, part number KIT2205810, is the factory replacement. It includes a current-version hand control and control box that are matched to work together on the VivaLift! Radiance PLR-3955 power lift recliner.

What's in the kit:

• The CTL2106501 12-button hand control (HW110I-4-024), which has a 5-pin connector and a USB port on top
• The CTL2205786 control box (Moto Motion CM310M-D3-2), with five color-coded 5-pin ports for the headrest, lumbar, back, lift base and hand control, three 2-pin heat and cup holder/LED connectors, and a DC barrel connector for wireless charging

Both parts are made by Moto Motion for Pride. Installation is plug-and-play: unplug the old remote and control box, then connect each motor cable to the matching color port on the new box and plug the new hand control into the black port. Taking a photo of the old wiring first makes the swap easier.

Do you need the whole kit? Chairs with model codes HOB and HOC were built with the newer CTL2106501 hand control and CTL2205786 control box, so on those chairs you can replace just the part that failed. The same goes for an HOA chair that has already been updated. If your remote and control box labels read CTL1908249 and CTL1908248, you need this kit.

Fitment tip: Check the model label on your chair to confirm it's a PLR-3955 (PLR3955LT, PLR3955M, PLR3955PW or PLR3955S). If your chair is a different VivaLift! model, contact us with your serial number and we'll help you find the right part.
