CTL2102648 - CM210F-000 Control Box for the VivaLift! Ultra PLR4955 Lift Chair

When your VivaLift! Ultra won't respond even with a good remote, or only some functions work, the control box is usually the part that has failed. This is the genuine Pride Mobility replacement control box, part number CTL2102648, built by Moto Motion for the VivaLift! Ultra PLR-4955 power lift recliner. The current version carries model number CM210F-001, which directly replaces the original CM210F-000, and it fits the small, medium and large chairs (PLR-4955S, PLR-4955M and PLR-4955L).

The control box is the hub of the chair's electronics. Five color-coded 5-pin connectors with locking clamps run the back motor (blue), base motor (green), tilt (orange), power headrest (yellow) and power lumbar (gray). A separate hand control and air lead on the back splits three ways: one for the hand control (marked "HC"), one for the side buttons and a purple 5-pin connector for the lumbar air bladder that Pride lists as the massage function. The box also has three square white 2-pin connectors for the heat pads, an LED lead, and a DC barrel plug that powers the wireless phone charger.

Power comes in through a 2-pin connector at 29V DC, 3.0 amps. The box measures about 11-1/8" x 3-3/4" x 1-1/4" and weighs 2.18 lb. It's UL listed and rated Class 2 and IP20. Because it's the same factory unit the chair was built with, every cable plugs back in where it came from. You'll also see an extra white 5-pin port on the back of the box. The chair doesn't use it, so it's normal for it to stay empty.

Pair it with the CTL2102645 hand control for the VivaLift! Ultra PLR4955 if your remote also needs replacing. If the chair is dead, moves erratically, or only some functions respond, and you've already ruled out the remote and the power supply, a failed control box is the likely cause.
