ZKAD-HR-1 - AutoDrive 7-Pin Lift Chair Remote Hand Control with Power Headrest for Golden & UltraComfort Power Recliners

If the hand control on your Golden DayDreamer PowerPillow or other power headrest lift chair has stopped responding, lost buttons, or has a damaged cord, this is the genuine ZKAD-HR-1 replacement. It replaces the earlier ZKAD-HR.

This 11-button AutoDrive 3.0 control runs every zone of a power headrest chair from one remote, including dedicated headrest up and down buttons alongside lift, back, legrest and lumbar controls. It has a coiled cord and a round 7-pin male connector.

Before you order, check two things on your current control. It should have 11 buttons including headrest buttons, and the plug at the end of the cord should be a round 7-pin connector. If your control has a round 5-pin plug and Sit/Home or Sleep buttons instead of headrest buttons, you need a standard AutoDrive control instead.

This control only operates chairs that were built with an independent power headrest and a 7-pin connector. It will not add a power headrest to a chair that doesn't have one.

Make sure it's the control and not the chair. First confirm the chair is plugged into a working outlet and the light on the power supply behind the chair is on. If the chair only works when you wiggle the cord near the control, the control is the problem and this replacement should fix it. If the control has power but only one part of the chair won't move (just the headrest or legrest, for example), the problem is more likely a motor or control box.

Installation is plug-and-play. Unplug the chair from the wall, unplug the old control from the extension cord that runs to the motor, plug the new one in, then plug the chair back in. No tools required.
