ZKAD-EXT-1 - 5-Pin Quick Disconnect Hand Control Extension Cable for Golden Lift Chairs

The ZKAD-EXT-1 is a 5-pin male-to-female extension cable that sits between your lift chair's hand control and the motor harness. It does two jobs at once: it gives the remote enough extra cord to sit comfortably in your lap or on the armrest instead of pulling tight, and it puts a disconnect point where you can actually reach it — so you can unplug the hand control for cleaning, moving the chair, or swapping in a new remote without crawling underneath and fighting the factory connector.

This is the current version of the part and replaces the older ZKAD-EXT. It's a straight pass-through cable with no electronics, so installation is plug-and-play with no tools: unplug the hand control, plug it into the extension, plug the extension into the chair.

Beyond Golden's own lift chairs, the same 5-pin connector is used across a wide range of power recliners and lift chairs built on Okin and Dewert motor systems, including Deltadrive and Betadrive units — so it also works on many Pride Mobility, Med-Lift, and other brand chairs.

Fitment note: This cable fits only chairs that have two motors and a 5-pin hand control connector. It will not work on single-motor chairs, even though the plug looks identical — the connector alone is not enough to confirm fit. To check your chair: a two-motor chair moves the backrest and the footrest independently of each other, while a single-motor chair moves them together on one mechanism. Confirm both the two-motor setup and that your existing hand control plug has five pins in a round housing before ordering.
