Description

Thumb throttle for the Razor E200 (versions 1-4 only), E300 (version 1 only), Ground Force Go-Kart (versions 1-12), Ground Force Drifter (Versions 1-2), and Dune Buggy (versions 1-11).

This throttle is only one of many electric scooter parts we offer for Razor scooters. Throttle has four wires. Check below for functionality of each wire. Throttle wire measures 60".

This throttle can also be used as a replacement for 3 wire thumb throttles. In a three wire application the yellow wire (battery level indicator) will not be used.

Prior to ordering, make sure your controller's four throttle wires are red, black, green, and yellow. Also measure your controller's four wire throttle connector and verify you have 4.5 - 6.0 volts between the red and black wire. If you do not read this level of voltage this throttle is not compatible OR your controller needs to be replaced.

Throttle Wire Color to Controller Wire Color (Description)

  • Red to Red (4.5 - 6.0 Volts Power)
  • Black to Black (Ground)
  • Green to Green or Blue (Speed Signal)
  • Yellow to Yellow (Optional Battery Level Indicator)

simple to replace, the existing metal contacts have a tab on them you use a flat head to push closed to remove from plastic boot (if you pull too hard the wire will separate making it hard to remove the old leads) and you install the new leads into the existing boot matching the wires in the battery compartment. fixed the symptom of the throttle cutting in and out while riding.
