Description
Description
Our Scratch & Dent brake (Type 2) for the Golden LiteRider (GL110/GL140) mobility scooter came to us missing its lever extension with the yellow handle. If you can reuse the handle and screws from your old unit this will be quite a bargain. Defective or damaged brake assemblies should be replaced as soon as possible, for the safety of the rider and the scooter.
Note: This brake unit is serial number specific. It is only compatible with LiteRider scooters with a serial number after GL12D and GLQ12D. If your LiteRider was made before numbers GL12D or GLQ12D, you will want the Brake Assembly (Type 1) for the Golden LiteRider (GL110/GL140). The best way to tell which version LiteRider you have is by the serial number. In lieu of s number, the next best way to determine which type brake you need is by inspecting your old unit. If your old brake unit is covered with a black plastic protective shroud, then it is this Type 2. If no black shroud was used, then you have a Type 1 brake.
