Our pull start 591606/695058 for Briggs & Stratton 15.5 to 17.5 Hp gasoline engines is a first class replacement part.
This 8-1/4"x 8-1/4" recoil pull start was used on a number of 15.5 to 17.5 Hp Briggs & Stratton engines. Although these were primarily sold new on lawn & garden tools such as log splitters, many were adapted to go-karts and other garage project power sports by custom builders and home mechanics. The aftermarket pull start will make a perfect substitute for the missing or broken units on your Briggs & Stratton engines.
Please note that this recoil pull start does not include the steel starter cup.
