Description
Our 35 amp, 50VDC 125/250VAC push-button reset circuit breaker is found on many models of small electric scooters, electric bikes, and compact mobility scooter and power chairs. It features a threaded metal shaft, threaded collar, ring, and clear plastic boot cover. A wide range of mobility scooters and electric wheelchairs (aka power chairs) protect their electronics with this same 35A breaker as well. This premium 35 amp 50 volt push button style ciruit breaker is suitable for use on 36 volt electric systems.

Our breakers use a dual D-style chamfered shaft designed to fit approximately 7/16" hole. These breakers are very easy to install or replace and are Underwriters Laboratories (UL®) Listed.

A scooter breaker is a safety device to protect the scooter’s electric motor from abnormal electrical overloads and subsequent damage from overheating. Often overlooked but easy to install and relatively inexpensive, a push-button reset circuit breaker should be immediately replaced when broken, damaged, or corroded. Also referred to as the non-technical term of reset button by some electric scooter manufacturers.

My wife's Rascal 4 wheel scooter would run fine right out of the garage for about 100 feet out into the yard or gardens and then jerk to a stop and only for her. I could get on it, turn the key and drive it around the yard without problem. Finally this spring I put the batteries back in, recharged them, and took it out for a test drive out to the mailbox and back to the garage, no problem, until I hit the lip of the garage slab and it jerked to a stop. I poked the breaker and it started up. I tried it a few more times in the yard and in/out of the garage and the problem kept repeating. Long story short I found the exact same value breaker from Monster Scooter Parts as was on the scooter and a major plus was the the new breaker had the button under a clear silicone bubble to keep any dust, dirt, moisture or rain out of the breaker. I pulled the under seat shroud off replaced the breaker, put it all back together and took the scooter out for for another run. She's ready for my wife anywhere any time now. Also I bought a second one as a spare, just in case.....and the cost of both of them was still less than any other place I shopped. Nice job guys. Thank You.
