The pedal assist for the ANCHEER 26" 350W electric mountain bike is every bit as important to your ANCHEER e-bike as the battery or controller. A pedal assist works by monitoring each revolution of the pedal. It signals the hub motor to give your motor additional rotation based on your chosen level of assistance. Pedal assist units such as this one consist basically of a doughnut-shaped sensor and a wire harness.
