Description
Description
We offer a selection of heavy duty thorn resistant bicycle inner tubes with a straight Schrader valve in a number of sizes. In addition to their rim dimensions, these tubes are identified with the valve length (in millimeters) at the end of their size designations. For instance our 26"x2.35-2.75" / 32 mm tube uses a 32 mm Presta valve, while the 700 x 20-25 / 48 mm mm model sports a longer 48 mm valve.
Extra-thick rubber makes these inner tubes resistant to punctures.
Instructions for Tire and Tube Removal:
1. Deflate inner tube completely.
2. Unhook one side of tire bead.*
3. Remove inner tube starting opposite of valve.
4. Check around edge of rim and inside of tire for any sharp objects.
Instructions for Tire and Tube Mounting:
1. Slightly inflate tube.
2. Insert inner tube into tire.
3. Position tire and tube to permit insertion of valve stem in valve hole of rim.
4. Mount one side of tire on rim by hooking tire bead into rim well.*
5. Mount other side of tire by gradually moving around rim.
6. After insuring that tire bead is properly mounted on both sides of rim, inflate inner tube to the recommended pressure.
NOTE: Over or under inflating tube will result in poor handling of bicycle and damage to tire and inner tube. When inflating a bike tube, please use your best judgment. The recommended PSI for an inner tube can vary depending on elevation and air pressure, and should not be taken as absolute.
