This controller is compatible with models that have a 6-wire throttle. This control module is not compatible with older models with a 5-wire throttle.

Note: Model versions of your MX500, MX650, RSF650, or EcoSmart can be determined based on the product ID code on your Razor product. The product ID code for your Razor vehicle can be found on the battery case and/or on the bottom of the frame. The 7th and 8th numbers in your product ID code are the version number of your Razor product (e.g. "03" = Version 3, "04" = Version 4, etc.).

Throttle Controller

Our Razor Scooter was submerged during a recent flooding event and rather than discard the vehicle I took it apart and assumed the only thing that could be a problem was the control module and the on/off switch. After installing both we are up and running again. Very affordable. Thanks!

I tested the control module and it works however I will keep it as a spare because while trouble shooting I found my issue was not the old module but was due to loose wires behind the on/off switch. Even though the switch light came on the lights on the throttle did not. After trying a new throttle and new module I found the problem was due to neither...It was due to the loose wires. So now I have an extra throttle as well...but that is fine as I have a much better understanding of how to repair the unit in the future if something goes wrong.
