This is the genuine Merits 6" x 2" caster wheel assembly for the Merits Velocity (P325) power chair, also sold as the AVID Velocity. The Velocity is a mid-wheel-drive chair with casters at both the front and rear, and this same caster fits either position. The casters swivel to let the chair turn smoothly and keep it stable as you drive.

The wheel has a solid, flat-free tire molded onto the rim, so there's no air to check and no flats. It comes assembled with 12 mm sealed bearings and is ready to install. Casters are sold individually; order two to replace a front or rear pair, or four to replace all of them.

Replace it if your caster wheel is worn, flat-spotted, cracked or wobbly, or if it has become stiff or noisy as it rolls.
