A loose chain is one of the most common DK1 complaints. It can slap, slip, or jump off the sprocket. The spring-loaded tensioner takes up slack automatically so power gets to the rear wheel smoothly.

Tip: A stretched chain can't be fixed by the tensioner alone. If the chain is worn, replace it too. We carry the 142 link #25 chain for the DK1.
