This brake caliper for the GOTRAX EBE1 folding electric bike is designed to be used on the front brake disc to ensure a quick and smooth stop. This caliper's steel construction allows it to withstand any abuse it may receive while using your bike and its black finish will keep your ride looking sharp. Our brake caliper is easy to install because the 2-hole mounting bracket comes preinstalled on the caliper.
Caliper/disc brakes are far more efficient than the drum & band brakes found on most smaller electric scooters. In addition, caliper brakes are less prone to overheating or damage during sudden stops.
