Description

This battery box assembly fits the Golden Technologies LiteRider Envy (GP162) power chair. Use it as a replacement, or as a backup power source for long rides. There are three ways to buy it:

  • Box only, no batteries
  • Box with a fresh 18 Ah MK battery pack
  • Box with an upgraded 22 Ah Universal Power Group pack (same size as stock, about 22% longer run time)

The "with batteries" options arrive assembled with the pre-wired battery pack and harness installed, ready to plug in. We install fresh batteries in each box as part of the shipping process instead of keeping pre-built boxes on the shelf.

Note: This box looks very similar to the box on the Golden LiteRider PTC (GP160), but the two are not interchangeable. Colored handle trim panels are not included and are sold separately.

Bought this unit as a backup to charge while the wheelchair GP160 was being used.

Bought this unit as a backup to charge while the wheelchair GP160 was being used and then swap it out when it was time to recharge that battery. At first i thought it would not work but found that I just had to swivel the chair to the side and now it works like a charm. Makes it easier to be able to do an overnight complete charge. The 22 amp hour upgrade batteries are great too!
