This 36 volt Lithium hoverboard battery charger with the mini 3-prong connector is significantly smaller in diameter than the standard 3-prong connector used on most other electric scooters. This is by design to prevent using non-Li-ion chargers to charge Li-ion systems and vice versa. In addition, this battery charger is to be used for charging Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery packs only. Use with any other battery types will damage your batteries.

Note: Approximately 42 volts are required to charge a 36 volt battery system. Some chargers for a 36 volt system may be marked or designated as 42 volt. This is the correct replacement charger whether your old charger is marked as a 36 volt or as a 42 volt.
