                      Description
A new replacement 29-1/2" throttle cable for dirt bikes, mini bikes, and scooters will do wonders to improve your machine's response. A good throttle cable is an absolute must on any mini bike, but like brake cables, throttle cables can eventually stretch, bind, kink, or rust. If your dirt bike, scooter, or mini bike's cable begins to give problems you need to replace it as soon as possible; it simply won't get better on its own.
Note: These cables may show minor rust spots one the metal ferrules. These are easily cleaned off with steel wool and in no way effect the cable's functionality.
Again like brake cables, throttle cables offer a little leeway when it comes to proper length. Of course, you don't want it too short, a barely reaching cable will soon pop out and possibly break your throttle in the process. A cable that is too long will work but it may quickly snag and get in the way. The best throttle cable is a happy medium and the best will replicate the length of the cable on a new mini bike; two or three inches longer than you absolutely need.
