Invacare tells us that this corded urethane tire may be a little more difficult to stretch over the wheel rim than pneumatic tires, therefore we recommend using a tire installation tool. Our M40E Tire Installation Tool is a great way to get that stubborn tire onto the wheelchair's rim.

The wheelchair tire was the correct size and worked well for our Invacare wheelchair. We took it to a local bicycle repair shop and they installed it while we waited. We are an ambulance service that also does wheelchair van transports and we needed the tire replacement due to the old tire coming apart.
