The Pride Mobility BAT2402057 is the factory-original 24 volt, 12 Ah lithium battery pack for the Go-Go Carbon (SC25) folding mobility scooter. If your scooter isn't holding a charge like it used to, or you want a second pack for longer days out, this is the exact OEM replacement Pride installs at the factory, so it fits, connects, and performs just like the original.
Lithium is a big part of what makes the Go-Go Carbon so easy to live with. This pack delivers 24 volts at 12 amp-hours (about 288 watt-hours) while weighing far less than a comparable sealed lead-acid battery, which keeps the scooter light enough to lift, fold, and load into a car.
The pack is a sealed assembly that helps keep out dust, dirt, and moisture, so it holds up to everyday use indoors and out. A top-mounted charging port makes it easy to plug in without hunting around the scooter, and because the battery lifts out easily, you can charge it on the scooter or carry it inside and charge it at a table or countertop.
Flying with your Go-Go Carbon
Pride designed the Go-Go Carbon battery to be airline compliant. At about 288 watt-hours, it falls under the 300 watt-hour limit the FAA sets for removable lithium batteries that power mobility aids. Removed and spare lithium mobility batteries must travel in the cabin, never in checked luggage, and FAA rules allow one spare battery of up to 300 watt-hours per passenger. Individual airlines can set stricter rules, so contact your airline before your flight to confirm your scooter and batteries are permitted and to find out what they need from you, such as advance notice or protecting the battery terminals.
