Unlike the more rigid framed seat styles found on mobility scooters and power chairs, most modern wheelchair models use a sling seat. This allows the chair to be folded up for storage and transport. An important feature of the Stylus sling seat is the tension adjustment. This allows some control over the "hardness" of the seat.
