Introduced in 1983 to replace the older P series, the classic Vespa PX series scooters were some of the most widely produced Vespa types. Using a 4-speed manual transmission, the PX series was available in either a 125 (VNX), 150 (VLX) or 200 (VSX) engines.

The 2-stroke Vespa PX series scooters have had something of a reincarnation with the Genuine Scooter Company's celebrated Stella series of 2-stroke, 4-speed, classic-styled scooters that are still in production.

Both models used the 3.50-10 tire size, and a 12 volt, 9 amp battery.
