GM1450-RM - Richmat HJA65 Recline Motor for Golden MaxiComfort & UltraComfort Stellar Lift Chairs

What this motor does
This is the back / recline actuator. It moves the chair back. It is not GM1450-LM (lift motor) and not the headrest motor (GM0900 / GM0910).

The GM1450-RM is the Richmat-built recline motor (Richmat HJA65) that Golden and UltraComfort use across their two-motor MaxiComfort and Stellar lift chairs, from the DayDreamer and Power Cloud to the Relaxer, Comforter, StellarComfort and Polaris. Golden's service manual lists it as "Chair Recline Motor 1450 Richmat Original ending 008." It replaces the earlier GM756R (Okin) and GM2000-RM recline motors.

It does not fit Golden's wide models (PR505-M26, PR535-M26, PR535-M28) or the five-motor PR515 and PR761, which use different recline motors.

Before you order

• Read the tag on the motor you are replacing. You want GM1450-RM (Richmat HJA65).
• Check the plug: this motor has a 2-pin black male connector. Lift chair motors look very similar, so match the part number, connector color and pin count before ordering.
• Older pre-2018 GM1450-RM units (sometimes listed as GM1450-RM-ORG) can need a polarity cable or the hand-control buttons run backwards.
• Unplug the chair transformer before you pull clevis pins.

24V DC, 3 A max; 183 mm (7.2 in) stroke; 4000 N (about 899 lbf) max push; 10% duty cycle (2 min on / 18 min off); about 412 mm (16.2 in) long fully retracted, 83 mm wide and 152 mm tall; about 4 lb; gray and silver.
