Fuel & Intake for Snowmobiles

A snowmobile fuel system is more than just a tank and carburetor connected by the snowmobile fuel line. The snowmobile fuel pump, and inline snowmobile fuel fuel filter all play their part. And, believe it or not, your snowmobile's gas cap does more than keep the fuel in the tank and water out. Most snowmobile fuel caps are vented which allows air to enter the tank as the fuel level decreases. If this vent gets clogged with ice, snow, or crud, a vacuum is created in the tank that will stop the flow of fuel. No fuel; no fun.
