Hub Motors

Electric bike hub electric motors have been growing in popularity. An old design brought up to the 21st century, the electric hub motor design has found its niche with today's high Watt electric scooters and electric bikes. Paired with the modern Lithium-ion battery pack, the bicycle hub motor has revolutionized the entire concept of "green" personal transportation; whether for the weekend's recreation, or the day to day urban commute.

Monster Scooter Parts now offers several electric hub motor designs that represent the cutting edge of this remarkable old/new technology. Any of our electric bike hub motors will provide a perfect powerhouse for a home-built project. The open-voltage scooter or bicycle hub motor is readily adaptable to many moped and most pedal-powered bikes. An advantage of the open-voltage system like the MagicPie and SmartPie models is they allow the builder/rider to customize their power output to meet different local regulations.
