Merits Cruiser Q (S538/S548/S5381/S5481) Scooter Parts

This page covers replacement parts for the Merits Cruiser Q (S538/S548/S5381/S5481) mobility scooter. Parts include battery packs and battery boxes, a 24V 2.0 amp charger, the motor, brake and transaxle, a controller, key switches and keys, a speed pot, an upper console, front and rear wheel assemblies, armrests and a wire basket.

The Cruiser Q requires a 24V 10 Ah battery pack; the battery box we list for the S5381/S5481 comes with 15 Ah batteries. A 1.5 amp charger matches the original, while a 2.0 amp charger charges faster. The rear wheel and armrests are shared with the Mini Coupe, and the key switch and speed pot also fit the Pioneer 1 (S235) and Pioneer 2 (S245). The model number is on a label on the frame, usually under the seat. As an authorized Merits dealer, we supply genuine OEM Merits parts, with compatible alternatives on select items.
