1165094 - Keypad for Invacare SPJ+ Joystick Controllers

This replacement keypad fits SPJ+ joystick controllers, most commonly found on Invacare Pronto series power chairs as well as several other Invacare chairs, including the Nutron and TDX models. It has a 4-button design and fits the SPJ+ joystick only.

Installation: Turn the chair's power off, pull back the gray collar and disconnect the joystick cable. Peel off the damaged keypad and inspect the contacts and housing for corrosion or damage. Clean all adhesive from the face plate with an alcohol prep pad, including the rim and the lighting and contact cutouts, then let it dry for ten minutes and check again for residue.

Remove the backing from the new keypad and line up its bottom edge with the bottom of the face plate. The overlay is not repositionable, so check alignment first. Press it on from the bottom up, then press firmly until there are no air pockets or ripples. Reconnect the cable, turn the power on and test the joystick. If it still does not work properly, the joystick itself may be faulty.
