Weatherproof vs Waterproof? - Weatherproof means it is resistant to harsh weather conditions such as UV rays from sun, precipitation, and wind. Waterproof means it is impervious to water but will break down when exposed to UV rays.

Our heavy-duty 600D polyester weatherproof cover with PVC rubber backing, is ideal for daily protection from elements. Weatherproof means this is water resistant and not waterproof, so we recommend not allowing water to pool on cover.

Note: If you use this cover to haul your mobility scooter in the back bed of an open truck, then you will need to lash it down securely. A couple of bungee cords will usually do the trick. The bottom edge has loops with a draw cord and buckle for this. What you do not want is for the cover to go flapping and flopping around in the wind as this will cause a lot of unnecessary wear & tear on the fabric.
