Description

This heavy-duty weatherproof cover fits the 3-wheel and 4-wheel Golden Technologies Companion I and II scooters. It keeps your Companion dry and dust-free, whether it is parked outside overnight or stored inside for a season. It measures 55"L x 18"W x 33"H; see the Specifications tab for more size details.

The cover is made of heavy-duty 600D polyester with a PVC rubber backing, with a reflective strip for low-light visibility and its own carry bag for storage.

Weatherproof vs. waterproof: Weatherproof means the cover resists harsh weather such as sun (UV rays), precipitation and wind. Waterproof material is impervious to water but breaks down with UV exposure. This cover is water-resistant, not waterproof, so don't let water pool on it.

Note: If you haul your scooter in an open truck bed, lash the cover down securely. A couple of bungee cords will usually work. The bottom edge has loops with a draw cord and buckle for this (tie-downs not included). A cover flapping in the wind will wear the fabric quickly.

I have not had a chance to use it yet but I have examined it and it seems to be nice and thick and I believe it will protect my scooter while traveling. The tiller cover is excellent for getting caught in the rain.
