Description

Three-wheel scooters and compact power chairs are nimble, but that agility can come at the cost of stability. This genuine Golden Technologies MBW-ATW3 anti-tip wheel is like adding an extra foot on the ground, helping keep the rider steady on sharp corners and slopes.

Golden calls this part the "Wheel, Anti Tip 3 Inch." It is a solid black wheel measuring 2-7/8" (73 mm) in diameter and about 1" (27.4 mm) wide, sold individually. MBW-ATW3 is Golden's current part number and replaces the older 3070503010, 3090503010 and MBW-CATW3.

Where it goes: On the Companion I (GC240) and Companion II 3-wheel (GC340), this wheel is used on both the front (steering) and rear anti-tippers. On the Companion II 4-wheel (GC440), it is used on the rear anti-tippers only. It also fits the first-generation Companion I (GC221/GC222/GC223) and Companion II (GC320/GC321/GC322/GC323/GC325), the Companion HD (GC540), and the LiteRider PTC (GP160) and LiteRider Envy (GP162/GP162B) power chairs.

Note: This wheel does not fit the Golden Alante Sport. The Alante Sport GP205/GP206/GP207 uses the MBW-ATW4 anti-tip wheel, and the Alante Sport GP208 uses the MBW-208-FAT front anti-tip wheel.

I broke the original anti-tip rear wheel and tried to get a replacement locally from a dealer

I broke the original anti-tip rear wheel and tried to get a replacement locally from a dealer. He took my information and said he would call me back with the cost and availability.
