Description

This AlveyTech premium charger replaces the original 3-prong charger on 48 volt electric scooters that run on AGM (sealed lead acid) batteries, including the X-Treme X-500. Most of these scooters use four 12 volt batteries wired in series to make a 48 volt system.

The charger delivers up to 57.6 volts DC, the maximum charge voltage for a 48 volt AGM pack, at 2.0 amps (115.2 watts). It plugs in with a 3-prong connector, and a threaded metal collar locks it onto the charging port so it can't wiggle loose.

A status LED glows red while the battery charges and turns green when it's full. The AC cord detaches and uses a standard 2-prong wall plug, and the input works on 100–240 VAC. The power supply is UL listed and made for indoor use.

Make sure your scooter has a 48 volt AGM battery pack and a 3-prong charging port before you order. Do not use this charger on lithium batteries. Store it somewhere dry, and don't let it fall onto hard surfaces like concrete.
