Description

The UB12120 is a 12 volt 12 Ah sealed lead acid (SLA) battery with absorbed glass mat (AGM) construction. It is the most common battery size in electric mobility scooters from brands such as ActiveCare, Drive Medical, Invacare and Merits, and it is a premium replacement for the generic 12V 12 Ah batteries that often come with scooters from medical equipment dealers.

It replaces any standard 12 volt 12 Ah battery, including these models:

SLA batteries are maintenance-free, fully enclosed systems with the electrolyte sealed inside. In an AGM battery a fiberglass-like mat holds the electrolyte in a stable, spill-proof suspension. The UB12120 comes with a 1-year full replacement warranty.

After sending a few emails, I was told they did have these batteries. (I tried to send pictures of the old battery, but was told their system does not allow pictures-why?) I ordered and they were shipped promptly. Then we had to go to the hardware and get these little plastic ends to hook the wires to. So, all is well and scooter is running!
