Electric-powered go-karts like the TaoTao EK80 have different battery requirements than gas-powered 'karts. Rather than simply used to turn the engine over, an electric powersports machine like the TaoTao needs a powerful set of lost-lasting batteries to keep the 'kart running. This battery pack is an upgrade in capacity to other half U1 size batteries but is the same physical size. You can increase your TaoTao's run time by almost 30% compared to if you had used standard 17 Ah or 18 Ah batteries.
