Tire levers can be a necessary tool for installation of large diameter bike tires. These lightweight plastic tire levers are durable, strong, and affordable. As a lug wrench or tire iron is essential to an automobile, our tire lever is an equally necessary accessory for anyone with an electric bicycle or scooter. Bicycle tire levers are the must-have in every cyclist or scooterist's toolkit. Sometimes called a tire spoon, the tire lever helps turn a frustrating and knuckle-skinning chore into a quick job.
The spoon end is curved to better get inserted between the rim and the bead. The other end has a hook that fits around a spoke to keep the tire bead and the rim separated. Don't have wire spoke rims? Don't worry - this tire lever will work great on all types of scooter and bicycle rims.
This is the classic tire lever design that has never been improved upon. Our bicycle tire spoon measures 4" by 1/2" wide, and is made of durable but non-pinching plastic that won't let you accidentally puncture your inner tube. Steel may be real, but sometimes plastic is a whole lot better!
Note: We recommend using three tire levers at a time - two to hold the rubber bead away from the rim and one to circle around the rim to remove the tire.
