RECPART1129 / MBZ00058 / P77909 - Keypad Overlay for 4 Key VR2 Joystick Controller

This peel-and-stick keypad replaces the worn keypad on a 4-key VR2 joystick controller, so you don't need to buy a whole new joystick. It has the horn key, on/off key, and speed/profile decrease and increase keys. It fits many power chair brands; see the compatible models below.

Installation: Turn off the chair's power and disconnect the joystick cable. Peel off the old keypad and check the contacts, face plate and housing for corrosion or damage. Clean all adhesive off the face plate, including the rim and the light and contact cutouts, with an alcohol prep pad. Let it dry for ten minutes, and clean again if any residue remains. Remove the backing from the new keypad and line up its bottom edge with the bottom edge of the face plate; it cannot be repositioned once it touches. Press it on from the bottom up, then press firmly so it is fully seated with no air pockets or ripples around the edge. Reconnect the cable, turn the power on and test the joystick. If it still does not work properly, the joystick itself may be faulty.
