Description
This replacement keypad fits the 6-key Q-Logic NE/NE+ series joystick controller that Pride uses as an option on several Quantum Rehab power chairs. Keypads are often the first part of a joystick to wear out from daily use, and the peel-and-stick backing makes replacement quick.
"NE" stands for non-expandable. The Q-Logic NE series is designed for rehab power chairs without power seating.
To install: Turn the chair off, pull back the gray collar and unplug the joystick cable. Peel off the old keypad and check the contacts, face plate and housing for corrosion or damage. Clean all adhesive off the face plate, rim and cutouts with an alcohol prep pad, then let it dry for ten minutes. Remove the backing, line up the bottom edge of the new keypad with the bottom of the face plate (it cannot be repositioned), and press it in from the bottom up until it is fully seated with no air pockets or ripples. Reconnect the cable, turn the chair on and test every function. If the joystick still does not work properly, the joystick itself may be faulty.
