This premium quality 24 volt 8.0 amp XLR compact battery charger from High Power, model number HP0240WB is a lot of power in a small package. It may be smaller in overall dimensions than many standard 8.0 amp chargers, but it packs the same battery-charging wallop as the bigger, heavier models.

Purchased as a backup for my electric wheelchairs charger. The day it arrived my 3 year old charger stopped working. The new charger was immediately pressed into service. This one has a cooling fan and it makes a low noise, that is not disturbing to me. I have to charge my chair next to the bed since I can't walk. The new charger has an on/off switch which is very useful. Thus far I've used it 4 nights and its worked perfectly on my QM-710 electric wheelchair. I'd reccomend this product and plan to buy another one for use in my handicapped van to charge the chair, using a 1000 watt pure sine wave inverter.
