Different...

The cover is made of different vinyl material than the original one was. The original one had a slipperier texture to it (similar to the material on the arms) that made it easy to get in and out of the chair where this one doesn't. My clothing seems to stick to it making it difficult to get out of.

It also was very difficult putting the cushion inside of the cover and trying to get the snaps closed. It took two men trying to accomplish it before they decided to put some heat on it with a hair dryer.
