Description
This AlveyTech 24 volt 2.0 amp (2000 mA) XLR battery charger is an economical, dependable charger for sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries of 7 Ah or larger. It fits mobility scooters and power chairs with an off-board charging female XLR socket, the most common type in the industry. See the full list of compatible models below.
The charger uses a complete 3-stage process (bulk, absorption, and maintenance/float) and shuts off automatically when charging is complete. In float mode, the battery can stay connected indefinitely. Charging time varies with how depleted the batteries are.
Built-in protection includes short circuit protection (self-recovering once the fault is removed), reverse polarity protection and over-charge prevention. As a switch-mode charger, it is much lighter than a linear charger.
