Description
If you have an early production Legend or Sundancer, here is a replacement part that you may need, the 70 amp potted controller for the Pride Legend (SC300), & Sundancer (SC202) mobility scooters. A "potted" controller is one which the PCB console board has been encapsulated in an epoxy resin to insulate and protect its electronic components against moisture and mishap. This assembly replaces the Controller Assembly for Pride Legend (SC300) and Sundancer (SC202) that has been discontinued by Pride Mobility.
This 70 amp controller assembly is as as shown in the photographs, and it includes the potted controller, black plastic console cover, 30 amp circuit breaker, ammeter,as well as the connectors.
Please note that this controller assembly is serial number specific and will only fit those scooters shown below.
Legend Compatible with scooters made with serial number L-40203 or after through units manufactured or prior to March 2000
Sundancer Compatible with scooters made before serial number 96039 or prior to March 2000.
